It is extremely important that a volunteer who wishes to attain Counselor IRS Certification through the Self Study course be aware that he/she must be self-motivated, have good computer skills, have internet/website navigational knowledge, and have some familiarity with tax preparation (even if it's only via doing your own taxes online). We welcome your working through the lessons below. If you find the lessons too confusing to complete on your own, we invite you to contact your mentor or to attend one of the district sponsored training sessions that will be announced on the New Counselors page once the dates have been established.
