Required Certification Test: There is one Test and two Training Modules that Schedulers need to complete every year. The Volunteers Standards of Conduct test, Tax-Aide: Policies and Procedures, and Tax-Aide: Technology and Security Training modules.

The Standards of Conduct Test is open book. Use the following following documents to find the correct answers prior to taking the test in Link & Learn

• 2025 IRS Form 6744 (Volunteers Standards of Conduct) Test Questions (3 pages)

  • Retest questions (2 pages)

2025 Taking the IRS Tests Online with Link & Learn

• Click the Sign in or create account button in upper right corner. 

• If unable to login, Users from last year will need to use the forgot password link and follow the prompts.

• New volunteers will need to click on the Create new account button and follow the prompts.

The Tax-Aide: Policies and Procedures & Tax-Aide: Technology and Security Training Modules are found in the AARP Volunteer Portal.

Login into the AARP Volunteer Portal at http://volunteers.aarp.org/ using your AARP email address and password. Click the Training tab and you should find your required courses/Learning Paths when they are available. You will be required to do:
